The China Leprosy Association is member of the International Leprosy Association (ILA) which, founded in 1931, is a Professional Society of physicians, scientists, and individuals and organizations in related areas, working to understand and relieve the problems associated with leprosy. From its inception, the primary goal of the ILA has been to provide up-to-date, medically and scientifically accurate information about this disease to all professionals who desire such knowledge.

中国麻风协会是国际麻风协会会员.协会(ILA)成立于1931年，是一个专业的协会医生、科学家、相关领域的个人和组织，努力了解和减轻与麻风有关的问题。从它的成立，ILA的主要目标是提供最新的，医学上和科学上对这种疾病的准确信息渴望这些知识的专业人士。

This formal letter to testify to the whole Chinese community in general and to you in particular all our compassion for this difficult period that your cuuntry is going through because of this epidemic, the coronavirus, which is currently raging in your territory. ILA assures you of its firm and unwavering support in the work to eradicate this disease. ILA also applause all your actions in that sense for since the outbreak of the epidemic, you has been working closely with your affiliated societies and international partners by extensively mobilizing scientists and professional medical staff to dedicate to disease prevention, scientific research, decision-making consultation and science communication. You have actively coordinated all resources available to fight against the disease through expanding scientific knowledge, producing media resources for public health emergencies, organizing psychological consultations, providing advices to the public on measures to protect health and prevent and control the spread of the virus.
